OUR MISSION
Coastal Act Productions is a non-profit, 100% volunteer organization created to foster, promote and increase public knowledge and appreciation of the arts and cultural activities in Lincoln County through youth theatre.
WHO WE ARE
Coastal Act Productions (CAP) stages shows where youth have the opportunity to be in community theatrical productions in conjunction with adult actors and musicians, as age appropriate leads, ensemble, and orchestra members. Consequently, our shows are based on a script’s capacity to handle a large cast, many of which are under eighteen. However, this does not make us a “school” theatre company. We are a community theatre company and we cast adults in lead roles where appropriate.
(Our casts typically have around 60 participants as well as a live orchestra).
We are run exclusively by volunteers. We appreciate everyone who helps bring our shows to the stage!
NO AUDITION NECESSARY
Passing the audition phase with other theater companies can be daunting for those who lack confidence or experience on stage. For this reason, all who register are cast and formal auditions are only held for principal roles.
