WIZARD OF OZ Auditions
Welcome to our AUDITION page!
We will start our audition process with an audition video. Please click on the link to our vocal selections and audition sides (that's just the dialogue part). Please record yourself singing the song and acting out the audition side. Then share the video with us. You can share a YouTube link or the video itself. You will need to share it with us in Google Drive, as the file size will likely be too large to send by email. If you are having trouble, please email us! We will figure out something.

Things to keep in mind-
- In order to be considered for a principal role, you MUST commit to school shows.
- Try to say the words of the script correctly, but don't be too worried if you mispronounce a word or two. If you completely mess up your lines, it's okay to ask if you can start from the beginning again.
- Please don't chew gum or eat candy while you are auditioning.
- Being nervous is a normal part of the audition process. Remember it is okay, everyone gets nervous.
- You may be in front of other people who are also auditioning, as well as the audition panel.
- Remember...Auditioning is not just about reading lines, singing a song and dancing, but it's also about making us believe you can be the character you are auditioning for.
- Please understand that not everyone who auditions will get a principal role. Remember being in the ensemble is AWESOME!!!
- BE RESPECTFUL OF EVERYONE AUDITIONING AND BE KIND TO THOSE WHO ARE ULTIMATELY CAST IN PRINCIPAL ROLES. DO NOT GOSSIP OR ENGAGE IN NEGATIVE BEHAVIOR OR COMMUNICATION, INCLUDING SOCIAL MEDIA. DO NOT CRITICIZE CASTING DECISIONS. This is unattractive and unsupportive and we ALWAYS hear about it. It does influence our decisions in the future. Supportive and encouraging behavior is ALWAYS our goal.
- Most importantly HAVE FUN! (It's really what this is all about in the first place!)
